Nancy Bishop è una direttrice del casting americana  che lavora a livello internazionale dagli uffici di Londra , Regno Unito e Praga , Repubblica Ceca .

Laureata all'Università del Michigan e alla Northwestern University , ha lavorato come regista teatrale a Chicago prima di trasferirsi a Praga negli anni '90 per dirigere uno spettacolo con la compagnia Black Box Theatre  e in seguito diventare il direttore artistico della compagnia. Quando le produzioni cinematografiche su larga scala iniziarono a girare a Praga, Nancy ha sviluppato una carriera di casting ed è conosciuta come specialista in talenti europei e soprattutto slavi. I crediti dello studio includono il casting europeo di Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011), Bourne Identity (2002), Hellboy (2004) e Snowpiercer (2013),  e ha anche lavorato con registi come Roman Polanski , Peter Greenaway , Neil Burger e Michael Apted . I crediti televisivi includono SyFy's Dune (2000), 12 Monkeys (2015-) e Blood Drive (2017-).  È membro del consiglio nazionale della Casting Society of America ,  nonché presidente della filiale londinese della CSA. Anche un'insegnante di recitazione riconosciuta, ha fondato il programma di recitazione per film presso la Prague Film School , [2] e tiene lezioni a livello internazionale. [5] Ha scritto due libri sulla recitazione per Bloomsbury Press : Secrets from the Casting Couch e Auditioning for Film and TV . È membro del BAFTA , dell'International Casting Director Network e della European Film Academy .
